Contract – A short term contract can often be the perfect staffing shortage solution.  Whether through utilising the skills and support of one of our Field Staffers or an independent contractor, we can work with you to secure the right person for your company and needs.

Position brief – we will meet with you to ensure we have a clear understanding of the positon and your needs.    

Candidate sourcing – our recruitment experts will complete a details search of our talent pool and if required develop a recruitment plan for your role.

Interviewing – after developing a short list of suitable applicants, we will undertake a robust interview process.   

Shortlisting – upon completion of a strategic interview process, we will present a short list brief of best-matched applicants.

Verification – all accepted short listed applicants will undergo a robust verification process including verbal reference checking.

Referral – verified shortlisted applicants will be presented for interview.

Offer presentation– with years of experience and expertise in negotiating contracts, we will act on your behalf once an offer has been made and will make best endeavours to ensure all contracts and documentation are returned before their start date.

Onboarding– successful applicant will be supported through onboarding process.

Follow up– regular follow up to ensure a smooth transition into new role.

We know that for any employer it is critical that all staff have been robustly vetted and are subject to a stringent recruitment process including:

  • Verification of qualifications – all applicants will be required to provide proof of their qualifications and training.
  • Verification of registration – all staff who are registered with a governing body and who provide services to your organisation will have at all times have a current and valid Annual Practicing certificate.
  • Verification of entitlement to work – all applicants will have their legal entitlement to work in New Zealand verified.
  • Reference checking – we know that reference checking in all sectors are unique and we ensure that sector specific questions are asked. 
  • Police vetting – all Gaia temp field staffers who provide a service to your organisation on a temporary or contract basis will have undertaken a New Zealand Police Vetting process if required.
  • Onboarding – all Gaia temp field staffers undergo a thorough onboarding induction prior to their first assignment which includes, Health and Safety, Professional conduct and Incident/ Accident and Hazard Management.
